Professional

One of the many benefits of being a brother of Alpha Chi Sigma is being provided with an opportunity to explore career options and professional skills. The Professional Committee is tasked with providing brothers these opportunities, typically in coordination with Virginia Tech's Career Service Center and VT Student Services. We also bring in both local and national professional brothers to speak with the chapter and pledges about the advantages of joining a professional chemistry fraternity.

Interesting Fact:  If you have taken a chemistry class at Virginia Tech, there's a good chance your teacher was a brother of AXΣ! Many of our collegiate and graduate student brothers go above and beyond to TA for chemistry classes, perform research for professors on and off campus, and represent our fraternity through the chemistry department.
